Why a Wipe-Down Misses the Problem
Spills don’t stay where they land in a fridge. Liquid runs under drawers, into shelf runners, and down into the drain channel at the back, where it sits in the cold and slowly turns. That’s where fridge smell actually comes from, and it’s why a fridge can look clean and still taint everything stored in it. The rubber door seal is the other neglected spot — food residue and mould build up in the folds, the seal stops closing tightly, and the whole unit works harder to hold temperature. Keeping a fridge genuinely clean is part of safe food storage, not just presentation.
So we take it apart. Shelves and drawers come out, seals are opened up and cleaned through, and the drain channel is cleared — then everything is sanitised before it goes back.
What Gets Cleaned
We remove and wash all shelves, drawers, and door racks, and clean the interior walls, ceiling, and floor of the cabinet including the runners the drawers sit in. Door seals are cleaned fold by fold and checked for mould and damage.

Every refrigerator deep clean runs against a documented SOP and closes with a dual-signed handover checklist, so what was cleaned is recorded rather than assumed.
